angel wings tattoo in memory of baby?

i want to get a tatoo of some angel wings in memory of my miscarried baby. what are some good websites to find this sort of tattoo? any ideas of nice tattoos? i want something nice not gothic or cartoon like. any input would be appreciated thanks!

There are loads of custom only tattoo studios, I suggest you find one you really like and sit down with the tattooist and discuss with him what kinda thing you’re after and the size etc, he can then draw up some different designs for you. As it’s something that’s very close to your heart, I think it would be nicer to do it this way than looking for ideas on the net, then you can have something that’s very individual to you and your baby. Don’t rush it, take your time. Good luck.

How badly will a simple lettering tattoo hurt?

The tattoo that I want is pretty simple, I think I just want my initials on my upper arm on the outside. I just want to know if it will hurt badly its just 2 letters "DJ"

In my experience the outer upper arm is about the least painful place to get tattooed. Shouldn’t be too bad.

Tattoo of the Maori Tiki symbol, disrespectful for someone not Maori?

I am thinking of getting a tattoo of the Tiki.
I am not Maori, Polynesian or from NZ, but I have read quite a lot of the varying meanings of the symbol and admire it.
Would this be disrespectful, or non-sense for me to use this symbol?

not at all, in fact i think its just the opposite. wanting their symbol because you respect its meaning in their culture is a great sign of respect. i hope you love it when its all done!!

What kind of cover-up did they use on Kat Von D to cover up her tattoos on that episode of LA ink?

It was when they covered up all of her tattoos. I need to find a good one to get for my friends wedding to cover my tattoo. It’s on my neck about 3 inches long and 2.5 inches wide and it’s black. Does anyone know what the name of it was? It looked like it worked wonders!

Be sure to always use a setting powder or spray with whatever you finally choose. Never skip this step

How painful is a peck/shoulder tattoo?

I am a male and I want a tattoo on m peck that runs up my shoulder. I am just wondering how painful it is to tattoo this area of the body in comparison to other areas.

lots of nerve endings on the shoulder (on the top near the neck, not so much the deltoids)… its about as painful as a needle rapidly pricking your skin and injecting ink into the third and fourth layers of skin would be…

Can teachers be hired with small wrist tattoos?

I graduate (college) in a year and am going to be an art teacher. I have a small dove tattoo on my wrist and i’m worried about being hired. I know that every district differs on whether or not visible tattoos are allowed, but in general, do you think I have a good chance of being turned down because of my tattoo?

There is a very easy way to get around this. Find a thick-strapped watch or bracelet, or just wear long sleeves to all your interviews – unless they explicitly ask you about your tattoo, which I’m fairly sure they wouldn’t be allowed to do because it would be blatant discrimination, there’s no reason for you to disclose it at all.
Don’t let this worry affect you too much. I’m sure you’ll be a wonderful teacher – your tattoo won’t make any difference to that at all!

Thinking about angel wing tattoo. Would it be weird if i got my name inside the wings?

So it would be like a small pair of angel wings on my hip. With my name (Abby) in-twined. My question is…
is is "weird" to get your own name tattooed on your body, or should it say something else?

well abby i think that you should put in the wings the person who is the angel in your life, the savior, the one who shows the way because that’s what angels do but if you have no one like that in your life then you should put your own name in.my honest opinion.jordynlee robertson

Does anyone know where to find good fonts for tattoo lettering?

I need to look at something that idont need to download. i am looking for a lettering for a friend. he is into wrestling and is pretty big and muscular. he also is into freddy krueger so im trying to think of something kickass to get all this in it..i was tinking possibly the lettering of the WWE logos or something with slashes thru it..any suggestions or sites to help? thanks

DaFont.com is a good place to start. Some font sites may have categories like Retro or Sans Serif or Techno. This goes beyond that. They have fonts categorized under Destroy, Horror, Distorted and Eroded (I’m guessing that’s the kind you were going for). Even Graffiti and Sexy. You can even preview your font using your text or copy. and all of them are free for download.

Another good choice is Blambot.com. This site provides various fonts for making comics. Though some of the fonts offered are pay fonts, there are a good selection of free fonts you can download (check out the Sound FX fonts).

To get a Maori tattoo do you have to be Maori?

I am Maori but do i need to know anything about it?

Well, I guess it depends if you are talking about the ancient Maori warriors. Those tattoos were usually done on the face making them look more dominating. Each battle or combat they won the piece was added onto. So an old Maori warrior that had his entire face covered would be know as one bad dude.

I doubt you are wanting a traditional Maori face piece. If you are wondering if there are any specific clan tribal designs, there were not. The design of the tribal was strictly up to the artist. Yes, the work on there faces was different between clans but that was just because it was done by a different artist with a different imagination and style.

But if you are of Maori descent that would be awesome to have a peace done on your shoulder. You can find lots of images of these designs in your local library.

Also, the Maori were some very bad and large dudes.
